Cover Thumbnails on SSD
I found thumbnails of covers on my SSD.

Is there any possibility to change the path to a HD.

What OS? Where did you find them?

Assuming Windows, and in %appdata\Local\calibre-cache then I don't think it can be relocated. You can however relocate the entirety of %appdata\Local\ via it's Properties->Location tab.

You are right. W7 %appdata\Local\calibre-cache\gui-thumbnail-cache.

Maybe Kovid Goyal or another developer could make it possible to set the path.
The path %appdata\Local\ is not changeable under W7.

It can be moved in my copy of W7 pro. Right-click on "Local", choose properties then location.

You can control the directory calibre uses for its cache with an environment variable CALIBRE_CACHE_DIRECTORY
