Pages and pages of preorders on Kobo store
How annoying. I went into the Science Fiction category on Kobo's website, and set the sort order to be newest to oldest.

What I get is pages and pages of books that I can only pre-order. I got tired of scrolling down looking for something I can actually buy.

Left without purchasing anything. Not a smart sales move for Kobo I suspect.

The first book listed for me is "Aliens from Space" by Robert Silverberg. I hope no-one is really wanting to read it, as it won't be available until December 31, 2020!

But, yes, there needs to be a way to exclude the pre-orders. Or only show pre-orders.

Try one of the subcategories. I was looking at "Science Fiction", but a similar thing happens in Fantasy. And in Steampunk about half the first screen is pre-orders when sorted by newest to oldest.

I totally agree this is not a good experience. I'll speak with our development and merchandising team to see what's going on here. Thanks for pointing out this issue.
