PW losing responsiveness

I've noticed that my PW is slower and slower to respond, including changing pages but particularly marked when accessing footnotes and comments (which I do all the time) or opening/closing books and home screen. Restarting doesn't help.

Any tips for improving this? It's starting to drive me bonkers, especially when revising.

How full is it? I've noticed that they slow down when the storage is nearly full.

You might also check to see if it is stuck indexing something...

It could be an indexing problem. If it isn't, I'd do a Factory Reset.

Thanks for your help, all! Turns out I had 5 unindexed books, and I will also take some more books off. If this doesn't help, I'll try the factory reset.

It's a classic symptom of stuck indexing. Take off the books that aren't indexed, and I'm sure the problem will go away.

How do you tell which books are not indexed?

Set the search scope to "All Items" and do a search for a random string. It'll come back and say "XX items not yet indexed". Tapping on the text takes you to a page which shows you which items they are.
