The Christmas Candle by Max Lucado is a festive heartwarming inspirational tale featuring an angelic visit to a small English village during the late 17th century and its impact into the late 19th, which was apparently adapted into a film (IMDB, Wikipedia), free courtesy of publisher HarperCollins' dedicated Christian imprint Thomas Nelson.
This is the B&N Free Fridays selection and you can read the feature author's own recommended reading pick over at their blogpost.  Currently free, probably just through the weekend @ B&N & iTunes (not available to Canadians).
