Edit metadata publish date for a date BC
I have no trouble editing the publication date for books I have in my calibre library from the late 1800's, but I can't figure out how to enter dates for things like Plato's The Republic (380BC) or Homer's Iliad (750BC). Anybody have any ideas?

IIRC there are issues with setting dates before ~700 C.E. see below.

The earliest date calibre supports is ~101 AD
