introducing myself - hope I'm doing this right

Hi all: My name is Paul Miller. I live in Boston and am a psychologist. After lugging around a heavy book on the subway and buses to get to work, I decided getting an e-reader might be the best way to go. I have some technical questions but will ask them elsewhere on this forum. You seem like a friendly group, one that I'm glad to be a part of. |

Welcome Paul Miller. Karma for posting an introduction so we know a bit about you, and I hope you enjoy your time here. Don't limit yourself to technical questions, by all means, but take a look around at all the other resources here, including the Lounge where all sorts of Unutterably Silly threads exist for the pure pleasure of those on the threads as we try to build a community. And by all means, don't forget the Patricia Clark Memorial Library -- an excellent source of books in the public domain, lovingly edited by our members to give you an excellent reading experience. And, speaking of reading experience, if you're the sort of person who has rather more than a half-dozen eBooks, you'll likely find some of the software available here useful. Calibre, for example, is the tool I and many others simply couldn't live without. I'm a piker compared to some, but my 1900+ eBooks would be impossible to manage without it. |
