Help us choose the August 2013 selection to read for the MR Literary Club! The run-off poll will be open for one day.

The run-off vote is single-choice. A discussion thread will begin shortly after a winner is chosen.

The Rotating nominator (this month - sun surfer) may not vote in the poll. In the event of a tie, the tie will be resolved by the Rotating nominator.

Well now I'm flummoxed. I voted for both of these. Leaning to Achebe since he died earlier this year and I thought it sucked that the non- literary book club voted categories to exclude even getting a chance to nominate this book.

So there it is, the sympathy vote from me.

I happen to have the book, but didn't read it as yet.

I'm going nature; that is...cycling for two weeks somewhere with little wifi, and trying to read through my currently reading pile first, so my contribution will be a late one.
