Cant' see Kindle title, metadata

Sorry if this is a very elementary Calibre question, but I'm new to e-book management.

I bought a new Kindle book, downloaded it to my PC Kindle and looked at it. But when I try to add it to my Calibre library in preparation for conversion, all I see is the cryptic kindle file name (B003XKN6CS EBOK) and no relevant metadata. So I can't convert it.

I've managed to add a number of other titles, and they import fine (and convert well).

I had to reboot Win 7 -- my system has a lot of shtuff on it, and it sometimes gets a little crabby after a couple of days without rebooting.
