Create a list of authors-titles for Excel?
Hello,

In order to avoid buying duplicate books, when I go into a book shop I'm using an EXCEL spreadsheet containing the list of all paper books I owned sorted by authors (1st column) and titles (2nd column). I would like to add to this XLS file also the list of all files which I have in Calibre.

How, is it possible?

Right-click Convert books: Catalog: Create Catalog...: Set Catalog format to CSV


Why not use Calibre to keep track of ALL your books?
That is what a 'empty book' is about: Look at the features of 'Add from ISBN'.

Also, there are Plugins Import List ( CSV)

I don't know if you use Android, but I recently found this app and imported my exported catalog csv into it for the same reason. It allows for custom columns, mapping ad more if you choose. You can import the images too if you wish or have the app look them up.

I am grateful you mentioned the import from csv plugin...i hadn't seen one yet, and really need one. I want to create empty books in my "Catalog" library for comics and such and this makes life easier

Make a ebook Catalog (Mobi or EPUB). Sme method, just select the output you want
