Custom Category always complains values have changed

Hi, I have a custom category called Genres set up to help me better sort my collection. However, every time I click on the little notepad-ish icon to bring up the list, I get this message: You have changed the values. In order to use this editor, you must either discard or apply these changes. Apply changes? The problem is, this message pops up even if I haven't made a single change to a book's metadata. Any idea why this keeps popping up, or how to suppress it? |
