Can't turn off automatic brightness
Just signed up and am hoping you kind and knowledgeable folks can help me sort out my Kobo Vox.
I can't seem to turn off the automatic brightness. I have gone to Settings > Display > Brightness, unchecked the "Automatic brightness" box and hit OK. Despite this, it continues to use auto brightness. When I go back to the settings, the box is checked again. Anyone else experiencing this? |

I had the opposite problem...I was unable to turn on auto brightness without using the power control widget. I would try seeing if you can use that widget to turn off auto brightness.
