Not all Samhain is Erotica just most of them.
Donna Alward is a Harlequin author. I like when HQ authors step out of the mold. Another HQ author that comes to mind is Pamela Britton her Samhain's title Playboy Prankster I still rave about. Not Erotica either but a good funny romance book.

I am looking forward to this one coming free for US.

It's just a timing coincidence. Samhain likes to do their freebies at the 1st and 14th of each month, the Baker Publishing people like to rotate theirs also on the 1st of each month. But yeah, it's nicely ironic.

I kind of hope that one day there'll be a mash-up Christian Erotica genre, for people who want hawt depictions of loving faith and/or officially published Song of Solomon fanfic.

Huh. I'm mildly but not really surprised that Smashwords has a "spiritual erotica" tag.

However, I do like the phrasing on description on the 2nd result that gets pulled up from the tag:
