Appearance of highlights on the computer?

Hello,

Could you please tell me, along with the name of the particular device(s) you own(ed):

Whether or not the highlights can be integrated to the PDF for being seen later on a computer.
How do highlights look when on the computer? (color, legibility, etc.)
Are they modifiable (erasable) when on the computer?
