Bargain (Kindle) - Cassie Palmer Series

Karen Chance's Cassie Palmer Series bundle is $7.51 (pre-order). This is a four book bundle and contains the entire series except for the very latest title, Hunt the Moon, which was released last month. If you like paranormal/time-traveling romance/female lead books at all, then you need to read this series. The only ones exempt from the recommendation to buy the bundle are those, like me, who already have the entire series in your ebook library, already. It isn't like Penguin to price their bundles this low, so grab it before they come to their senses.

Book Description
Clairvoyant Cassandra Palmer's magical powers are a mixed blessing-she may be able to contact spirits but sometimes this can be a whole lot more trouble than it's worth. Battling with vampires, feys and mages who all seek supremacy, Cassie must use her powers wisely in order to save herself - and the world. The Cassie Palmer Series includes Touch the Dark, Claimed by Shadow, Embrace the Night and Curse the Dawn.

Wow, Great bargain and they were on my "try the series if they mark down book #1" list. Didn't think I'd be trying because as far as I've seen Penguin NEVER discounts anything.

Looks like Kobo has it for $7.69.

Thanks! I grabbed it.

However, I am wondering if it is some sort of price mistake. If you look at who it is sold by, it says Amazon Digital Services and it doesn't say this price is set by the publisher. I thought all Penguin books were Agency pricing.

Also, looking at nook books, Barnes and Noble has a similar bundle (5 books, not 4) with a price of $39.99.

Sold by Penguin Books Ltd on the Kobo site. There seems to be a large number of books under this imprint at Kobo, they do not appear to be Agency.

The single titles & 5 book bundle are sold by Penguin Group US. If there's a mistake it's probably Penguin's as we're seeing it in 2 stores.

Penguin LTD = Penguin UK. Simon & Schuster UK also have some books on Kobo that are not agency. Even though they stated they were participating in agency pricing last year I am wondering if the EU investigation has caused them to pull back on this. Random House UK already stated that they would wait until the end of the investigation before they would go to agency model. I don't see their books at Kobo.
