				calibre-parallel.exe crashes on book import

Hey all, I'm using Calibre Portable 8.8. When I try to import a specific and pretty large e-book file, the error "calibre-parallel.exe stopped working" (or something like that) occurs and the import fails. However, I would really like to import this book into my library. Is there any way to fix this or import the book manually? Thanks, domee |

			1. You can make an empty entry then got edit metadata and add the book from the add format option. 2. Disable read metadata from file on import I am guessing the file you are importing is a pdf calibre sometimes has problems with reading metadata of pdf and crashes |
