PRS-500 double screen refresh ...is it possible?

Like the question asks is it possible to force the reader to do this? Sometimes I find the ghosting distracting and find that if I refresh the page it goes completly. Considering the amount of page flips available before charge I would not figure this to be to big of a battery drainer. Plus the time it would take would only be a fraction longer.

I had read in another post that some readers appear to flash 2 times per page and some only one (as per mine does) so maybe this is something that is a factory setting
