Download problem
I have had a Sony Reader for some time. Recently I was offered an iPad at a very reasonable price and am now its pleased owner.
The Sony device was loaded with a number of books downloaded from Net suppliers but will not read on the iPad. Is there any method of getting these books to the iPad, or must I repurchase them. I do have emails which seem to download new copies but these automatically open in Sony Reader software. I know I could run 2 devices, but have been offered a fair price for the Sony. |

as there is a big difference in sony device book reader and that of ipad so I think there won't be an option but to repurchase them. However, there might be some sort of converter but u got to surf the internet for that.

If you bought your Sony books a while ago in their old format I believe you can redownload as Adobe DRM ePub files. It they are already ePubs, then I understand you can read them on the iPad with the Bluefire Reader app which supports Adobe DRM.
