Which is best for PDF and TXT?

I deal with a fair amount of PDF and TXT files in my freelance job; but I don't want to read everything on my computer because of the fatigue it causes.

I would like to know which device is best (most convenient) for these two formats? I tried some PDFs on Kindle, but the typeface is really small on the screen; to make it larger, one would have to zoom in and out constantly... which is a real pain.

Is there anything else that will be more suitable?
