Architecture blocking opening calibre

Hi, I'd like to use calibre and have downloaded it - latest version from the site - on to my powerbook G4 (with a 1.33 Power PC processor)running osx 10.5.8. It's there, it's in the applicaitons folder, but if I try to open it I only get

You can't open the application "calibre.app" because it is not supported on this architecture

I've uninstalled it and reinstalled and get exactly the same thing. Is there anything I can do or is there really some problem stopping it running?

Calibre dropped support for non-intel Macs some time ago. I believe the latest version that works on those machines is 0.7.28.
