Newegg also has the POWEREX MH-4AA270-BH 2700mAh 4-Pack AA NiMH batteries for $11.99 plus free shipping. My first week using them I got 159 combined hours--reading and standby--with my jetbook lite, of which a min 42 hours was reading time. The batteries are heavy, the weight is noticeable.

It is for the MH-C204W not the fast charger, (slow charging is better for the
life of your rechargeable batteries). I have the C204W and find it works well.
If you go for this deal you should also order another set of the batteries and
another 4-cell case. (Ordering the case will also reduce the shipping cost,
weird but true.)

Kris, I disagree! Newegg has the JBL with a free leather case for $99, while it has the Mini with a free earlight for $89.

I gather that most here value the leather case but do not value the earlight. So I would vote for the JBL. The discount makes the JBL with the leather case with free shipping only $79.

yes, free leather case is good if you need jetBook Lite with DRM support. I have both units and almost don't use jetBook Lite any more because jetBook mini is very light if compare with JBL, has better design and works much longer with one battery set. You can even use it with 2 AAA batteries.

I am a big fan of MAHA batteries and they make the best charger ever. Be aware though, their batteries have a slightly shorter positive terminal so some devices will not work. Otherwise, they are great.

Hope this offer comes back. At $72, even I would have grabbed a Mini.
