				Kobo coupon: 35%offbook

I was following a link on the Kobo website and happened upon this coupon code: 35%offbook I think it is supposed to be for new users, but it worked for me.

I used that one in the past. It appears to only be useable on one item but the coupon code FBREADING is also 35% off and useable on unlimited items (yay!) I have no idea when it expires but I will be using it until it does Steph |

Both codes worked for me. I'd been waiting for a good coupon to buy three titles at Kobo, since I missed the 50% off a while back. 35% isn't 50%, but it's still pretty good. 35%offbook worked on one title only for me, but FBREADING worked on the other two! Woo-hoo! |

Thanks - FBREADING still works, and I bought the latest Lee Child book using it! Unfortunately, They would not allow it for my attempted purchase of the latest Cleopatra bio.

You have to watch the listings as these coupons do not work on Agency books--usually they have only one price listed, as opposed to non Agency titles thatshow a retail and a discouted price.

Code NEWYOU11 will supposedly get you 35% off of the next 10 books you use it on.

Goat--the coupon did not work for me. Was this one of the coupons associated with the new iPAD/iPhone application? I wonder if it only works if you buy your book using the mobile device.

This was working for me straight off the website, but appears to be dead. I guess it expired this morning.

35%offbook still worked for me today on one book, so if anyone hasn't used it yet it will probably still work. Thanks, taming. BTW, if anyone is interested, Kobo now has a lot of the Soho Press (international crime) books, at least for US, all in epub. Some of the prices are lower than the usual $9.99 they have been going for at Amazon and B&N, and the coupons work with them. http://www.kobobooks.com/search/sear...=soho%20press& Soho Press website: http://www.sohopress.com/backlist.php |

This is very cool. Soho Press has some good mysteries, but they tend to be pricey, so it's great that they will be available on a website that has coupons and discounts regularly...I'll know how to spend Kobo coupons for a while! | |

I know! I was really excited about this, as I have been checking Kobo ever so often to see if they had them yet. |

I'm trying to use the FirstRead coupon, for 35% off your first book, but the first two books I tried said I couldn't use it due to publisher's restrictions. Is there any way of knowing which book I can use it on, or do I have to try each one (which means putting in my credit card info over and over again)? Thanks! |

Coupons do not work on any publishers who use the agency model. These publishers set the price and do not allow discounts/sales/coupons by the retailers. If you are in the US, these include: 1. HarperCollins 2. Simon & Schuster 3. Hachette 4. Macmillan 5. Penguin along with their imprints. If you are not in the US, it could be only Hachette at this point; I'm not sure what the latest is on that. As taming said in her post above, usually if there is only one listed price like this: Buy this Book Price: $12.99 coupons will not work. If it looks like this: List price: $26.00 Our price: $14.99 You save: 42% ($11.01) the coupons will usually work. |
