Need to read and highlight PDFs, also Russian
Christmas eve and my ebook reader packs up. A very sadly, and badly-timed event!
Since I bought by Hanlin V3 (as recommended by this forum, thanks again for advice!) my needs have grown. As a language student, I need to read PDFs and annotate or at least highlight as I read. As a student of linguistics, a lot of what I read is in Russian, although I still struggle with Russian keyboard layout. I also can't afford more than £200. I'm looking at the 3rd gen Kindle, but am not clear about how well it supports either Russian or note-taking? The PocketPro 603 looks lovely, but at £250 is a bit steep. There are LCD tablets available, but I really prefer eInk as my eyes get tired easily. Are there any other models worth considering in this price range? Or should I just buy a Kindle and hope it does what I need it to? Thanks yet again for your help! |
