Delayed write and Quick TAG Editing

Hello,
now that library is quite big I spend a lot of time waiting for Calibre to update data on disk.
A feature I have found in a MP3 TAG editor was DELAYED WRITE: you modify the DB entries and ONLY when you hit "Write" they are written back to disk.
I gently ask for this feature to be added to Calibre as it is now quite slow.

Another feature I request is to ADD a keyboard shortcut for single an multiple metadata editing. It is annoying to use the mouse for this task.

A last request: could you add (if it does not exists already) a keyboard combination to move BACK/FORTH from one column to another ? I have moved the TAG column near the Tittle one and I want to start editing the value in the TAG column only by keyboard.
