Wake to download news? OS X
Calibre is amazing. Awesome. Unbelievably useful. It makes my Kindle worth having.
Is it possible to have Calibre wake my computer (10.5) every morning on its schedule to download my new feeds? Thanks, Noah |

You can't have calibre wake your computer for you (after all if your computer is sleeping, so i calibre). But I'm sure OS X has some facility you can use to cause it to wake up automatically at a fixed time. Someone more familiar with OS X will probably be able to give you details on that.

Thanks. This is under "Energy Settings" in OS X and I just have my Calibre downloads happening a couple minutes later, all scheduled to go off before my morning alarm. I'll "wake up" to my feeds.
