Constantly Setting the Date and Time

Everytime I power on my Kobo it asks me to set my date and time. I diligently do this every time, select apply and then go on my merry way. Sure enough though when i power up next time it once again asks me to set my date and time.

Have I done something incorrectly? I've even gone into the settings and set it that way to no avail.

You should probably exchange the unit as this is most likely a hardware defect.

I hear your frustration! Mine was doing the same thing. I returned mine to Chapters and didn't get any hassle at all. The store clerk ordered me a new one and I got it about a week and a half later. My new one works just fine.
