I think our high today was 70 degrees? No humidity. It was quite nice. Turned off the AC for the first time in weeks and opened the windows.

AC is still off. It is 89 degrees but there's a breeze and the dew point is in the upper 40's. The house is still nice and cool.

We desperately need rain. Acorns have fallen off the oak trees already and even some leaves which are already brown and dead.

stormy chicken win - hours of thunderstorms with lots of thunder & lightning => cats terrified when the house shook, but temps nose dived into the 70's F!

Got to take an after dinner walk without heatstroke!

Smoky afternoon win. Tomorrow is supposed to bring a change in wind direction and even some rain. I'm getting tired of my home smelling like we have a bonfire in the living room.

When we had wildfire smoke here I wore a KN95 mask outdoors to keep that smell/taste out of my nose & throat. Fortunately not enough smoke to notice inside.
