Wicked cold. It never rose above -2 F here yesterday. Today it is supposed to reach a high of 3 F, but winds may be up to 20 mph. Canada please take your weather back.

Around here they are.

Cold (but not as cold as a Canadian Junkyard in January -- my new baseline!), with snow. The snow wasn't heavy, but because of the low temps it fell in dense, fine "flakes" and meant low visibility.

Still, it only totaled an inch or so, and it's still "dry" enough that I should be able to make our driveway passable with a push broom.

That's downright chilly!

Wednesday night's overnight is predicted to be -8° C and Thurday's high -1° C, and that's what generally passes for "cold as a witch's" whatever around here.

Fortunately I had a new car battery installed in December - so after making an unhappy noise the car cranked up - but even with a scarf over my face and a hooded Polar-Tek jacket, by the time I got from the parking lot to my workplace I had a 'brain freeze' headache.
