Hi,

I would like to test a last try. My Kobo Glo is charging, its function total normal, only when I connect to PC, he says unknown device. I try it on several PCs, no Change... Can anybody send me a sd-image for my kobo glo ?

I have sent you the link, but your symptoms are not ones that the image will fix. Reimaging is really only useful for devices that don't work at all.

What this sounds like is you to are running Windows 10 with the Anniversary Update. In that, MS changed something and no longer recognises the Kobo devices properly. There are a couple of threads discussing this.

I am a long-time user of the Kobo Glo, but my device decided to brick as it had no battery left while I was doing stuff on it...

Can someone please send me a .img of the Kobo Glo internal SD card ? It would be wonderful !

What were you doing that running out of battery bricked the device? If you were just reading, it should just display a message about recharging the device and then power off. Once it is charged again, it should start OK.

Hello, thank you for your prompt response and for link.Okazało August that damaged graphics on płycie.Był damaged and replaced the display. When you insert a memory card runs for a moment the green light, and nothing works. Windows 10 does not see the reader. Regards

Sorry, I'm not sure what you are saying. I think:

- You had a broken screen and had it replaced.
- It didn't work when you turned it on.
- You reimaged the internal SD card from the link I sent but it still doesn't work.
- Windows 10 doesn't see it. Forget about this until you actually get something displayed on the screen. The PC won't see the device until you tap the "Connect" button after plugging it in.

In the above, "not working" means whatever was on the screen didn't change.

Is the above right? Or have I missed something?

Hello, well you understood. I looked at the motherboard is faulty and coil L11 is as if she was overheated after a short circuit electrical.

That's unfortunate and unusual. We don't get many reports of the failures other than the screens and internal SD card. If you want to get it going, you should be able to find someone here with a broken screen that will supply te rest to you. Or take the screen off your hands.

My Kobo Glo is not working anymore. It is stucked in a Restoring loop. Soft and hard reset didn't work out.

Can someone please provide me the SD image for model N613? Thank you. Do I have to use the internal SD or can I also work out a solution with an externel SD card?

What do you mean by "soft and hard reset"? Is one of those a factory reset using the buttons?

You will have to ope the Glo and remove the internal card. For instructions on using the image, see Memory Upgrade Mod Guide.
