Oddly enough, Ars Technica answered a couple of my question en passant. The iPhone/Touch apparently can't do some of the things I'd like, but the iPad may be able to, depending on how other things are implemented. Time, I suppose will tell. I still think making people hunt around to find out if they want your product is a bad decision.
