I've been on many cruises including transatlantic. So I know about the time zone changes. I've never bothered to change the time on my Libra 2. It's not important at all.

So why not change the timezone (to match the timezone your time is set to) if it really matters that much? Logging out is going to cause one heck of a mess. Don't do it. Don't ever do it unless you are doing so to fix a corrupt database.

Actually, you don't need to change the time on a cruise ship because eventually you will be back home where the time will then be correct. It's only like two weeks at most where the time won't be correct.

As I said, when I was on the cruise, I never bothered to use the time on my Kobo. My phone and watch were my time sources. I did notice that at times, the ship would jump from the current time zone to the next destination time zone when we left port. Probably easier for them than changing the clocks 3 times.
