Frozen Summit. Getting ready for cup number two. I stayed up watching a silly TV show last night and am totally feeling it. It is amazing how an extra hour of sleep effects me.

This afternoon, Okayti Estate First Flush Darjeeling. A delightfully light and aromatic tea. But for dinner, just a Diet Coke.

I had a couple of sausage biscuits from McDonalds for my breakfast. Bad for me but it has been a week. A long, long, long week.

Biscuit or muffin, easily one of the very best tasting morning sandwiches ever invented... so long as you don't get them in Singapore or Malaysia. They use chicken sausage (because of the large Islamic population) and the taste just isn't right!

Indeed. Though I gave up trying to figure out (and remember) what all the letters at the end of Indian and Sri Lankan teas mean in real terms. In the case of this tea, though, the name is fully descriptive. First flush is the early spring picking when the tea leaves first come out. And the Okayti Estate has one of the more distinctive Darjeelings. It's First Flush tea is bright, rather light, but very aromatic, and is almost green in the cup. NOT a tea for milk or sugar, but an interesting alternative to an afternoon Oolong, for example. A bit more acid, and slightly less rounded than a good Oolong, but more aromatic.

All of which doesn't help my not having any tea at all in my cup yet. I should be swimming, but I'm goofing off reading MobileRead instead.

I really don't know why I think coffee will help; I just need to go to bed earlier.

Coffee always helps. But it's dealing with the symptoms, not the cause.

No coffee today, it's back to Peet's English Breakfast tea to go with the fresh squeezed orange juice.

Yech. Something must have gotten in the water heater/dispenser. Gaack, that was a nasty cuppa.

OK, clean, rinse, rinse again and make a new pot.
