I am very disappointed. The world cup turned into euro

The positive side is that I'm now free to support Germany. They do have an impressive team, making football look both exciting and easy. I just didn't want a european to win.

They are given almost the same odds, with the tiniest edge for Spain.

I will root for the Germans, because of a personal inclination toward that country, and because the new team is so fresh and vibrant, surprising.

Spain has a more established game, very classy. In spite of the class they still use sledge hammers in the contrasts. Ahhhhh! Frisson de vielle fille.

Congrats to Spain! Well deserved. Spain was the better team tonight. I would have loved to watch Netherlands : Germany next Sunday, too bad. Well, I think I'll just root for the Oranjes instead.
