Now we are at 7.5 version, but it seems the problem is stll there...
I test it, but with sony reader 505, in the top and in the bottom there is always space also with zero setting...

This thread is talking about LRF files and when the change from 0.5.14 to 0.6.x happened I believe the conversion engines were switched to plugins. During this switch (with Sony heading toward ePubs) it was determined that the man hours required to create a plugin to the level of the original code wasn't practical. So some fine tuning items were lost during the switch to 0.6.x.

It has been discussed many times in the past and all LRF development has ceased.
