I won't watch a match with our national team again, before Jon Dahl is kicked off the team... What a lousy player he is by now.. And he has stated that he plans on staying for the European cup in 2012..

That match was horrible.. But well played by the japanese team!

He played horribly for sure... but it's kind of ridiculous to blame it on one player, when none of the other players played well either. And if he actually got some confidence back in his game, he could easily be the forward he once was.

Having said that, I still think that now is the time for a new generation to step into the scene... if there is any talent that is (Besides Eriksen).

As a (sometimes) honorary Dane I'm disappointed for you - the match wasn't good but DK have played no worse that others who are progressing to the knock-out - England for example

Yes, it was boring because both teams were a little bit afraid of eachother and were playing for the most convenient result.

But they never got to the point of Spain vs Chile in the last 15 minutes.

Next tuesday: Spain vs Portugal

It's a shame. Football is a show and as such teams should be performing for the public.

That's nice to say, but the results are also important. And in a competition, your margin for show is much narrower.

BUt I agree the game should have been better. But from now on, it will be different. The winner continues, the looser is eliminated and there can't be draws.
