A tie, I guess that is pretty good considering how it looked at half time. Now we need Algeria to beat England and then us to beat Algeria. Or England and Algeria could even tie that would be ok too.

England is resourceful. Get the coach to give out tissues so the players get their fingers out of their noses...

Their last performance was not at par with a premier league match.

Best match of the tournament so far, although I would have given that fouling get Dempsey a red card, he was all elbows

Now we have to wait till 7:30 BST for the English to royally stuff it up for another year.

I preferred the Uruguay/Italy match. Never seen such a composed defense before. (Uruguay)

Canada beats LesBleus at rugby for the Churchill cup!

Never been proud of that team before but they're finally learning something...

US is still in ok shape at least, beat Algeria on Wednesday and they most likely move on. Just a couple scenarios were they could win and end up in a tie breaker situation and potentially get left out.

Eh! that's something! Go Canada Go! They always played an enthusiastic rugby! They are strong, after the traditional 7 (3 UK+Ireland,SA, Aussie,Kiwi) it is tight between them, Argentina and us. The French must be quite piqued. Football is one thing, rugby .... an other one!

I didn't think it all the way through, but your right our chances are pretty good right now. If we assume England wins then England and Slovenia are tied with 4 points each, and the US with 2. But then if we beat Algeria we have 5 and, assuming there is a winner (not a draw), between England and Slovenia, one of them will have only 4 points! Cool!

A draw or Algeria win here is best for us as then we move on with a Win over Algeria for sure. Outcome of England-Slovenia won't matter.

England wins, then there's the possibility of getting left out if we win and Eng-SLV tie depending on tie breakers.

Most likely scenarios is England beats Algeria and Slovenia, and US gets 2nd in the group with win over Algeria.
