Hi all,

I'm a new owner of a Kobo reader, and I just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying having it. For years I have been casting envious eyes and Sony and Kindle owners, and wishing that New Zealand wasn't such a technological backwater.

I've had the Kobo for a fortnight now, and have loaded 44 of my ebooks (previously sitting on the PC waiting for a decent reading device) on it, plus over 100 of my work related technical pdfs on to a separate SD card.

As it pretty much goes where I go, one of the things I need most is a protective cover.

Anyway, so much for the intro; I'm off to browse the rest of the forum. See you round like a rissole.

Kia Ora, Whether Man! I spent '05 in Hamilton, not far from you. Had a great time. As I recall, I left in early '06 and people were still worried about using internet in their homes because it would tie up the phone line Lovely country, but not the most techie of a crowd Enjoy the Kobo. I got one and gave it to my mother and she is enjoying it.
