Thank you for keeping us updated, Katie's Cat's "MOTH". I know it's not comfortable sharing family information with people you don't know, but KC is a loved member and we all are anxious to have her back and posting to and with us again. **Hugs to you both**

Right after brain surgery people need to sleep a lot, and that's good. At this point she should be in the real recovery where her mind rebuilds connections.

I would be ecstatic if all she did was get back on and say "Hi. Talk to you next week."

Glad to hear of the good course of recovery. The brain has an amazing capacity to recover and reprogram. I treat patients with this sort of surgery frequently and stand in awe of the things that happen over the course of a few weeks to months.

Thanks, pshrynk. My knowledge is only from people I have known. One was a man that walked out of a hospital using only a cane. Big deal? His family had called in a priest for Last Rites 10 day before!

i have no first-hand experience but i do know from things i've read that the human brain is truly an amazing thing, it's positively astounding to see what it's capable of.

and i'll add again my own best wishes to KC and MOTH, and hope we'll hear soon from KC.
