Well, closer than anything else, anyway. I had gestational diabetes with my second pregnancy, which means I had to restrict the sugar. Up until then I was a regular Dr Pepper or Coke girl. I tried giving up soda altogether in favor of tea with artificial sweetener but found out fast it wasn't the caffeine I was missing, it was the fizz. So I tried a bunch of diet sodas til I found one I could stand, and that turned out to be Diet Dr Pepper. Even after the pregnancy (and I didn't develop full blown diabetes), I never went back to regular soda. Once in awhile I'll get a regular Coke if we go through a drive thru (for some reason I don't like diet Dr Pepper in fountain form), but for regular consumption, Diet Dr Pepper it is to this day. |

I became completely addicted to mineral water when I lived in Germany. I hardly ever drink soda. there is a 6 pack of root beer in the cupboard that I bought in November. 4 are left

Just finished my second morning latte in bed. Mmm, this is the way to wake up to a cool, autumn, sunny Sunday. There's no milk left though, so I can't go for three. Maybe we'll go for a walk down to the beach and pick up a takeaway to sit on the beach with...?
