That sounds pretty good - £15/month for up to 3GB traffic. That's very much on a par with the cost of using 3G dongles.

Latest prices from apple japan store is up:

They look more in line with US prices.

Since its via Apple, i can order it and pay by COD. Softbank seems to mandate creditcard purchase.

Nor in my country. And a lot of other countries. And I doubt it will make more people eager to get it. In fact, I know of a few people who would have bought it if it had been available from the start. But now, after they had some time to reflect and read reviews probably won't buy it.

just buy a iphone sim card from o2 on simplicity! £15 a month for unlimited data.

I just noticed on the Apple Canada website for the iPad, that there is no mention of iBook app on the features page. Has anyone noticed if there is a mention of the iBooks on the features page of the various countries that are getting the iPad at the end of the month?

I just did a quick check and only find a reference to the iBooks on the US site.

iPad is available in Canada for a suggested retail price of $549 (CAN) for 16GB, $649 (CAN) for 32GB, $749 (CAN) for 64GB for Wi-Fi models and $679 (CAN) for 16GB, $779 (CAN) for 32GB and $879 (CAN) for 64GB for Wi-Fi + 3G models. iPad will be sold through the Apple Store® (www.apple.ca/store), Apple’s retail stores and select Apple Authorized Resellers. I got to see the iPad today at Jarir bookstore here in Riyadh.
A friend of mine had his iPhone on him so we run a quck feature comparison. iPhone is much better for making phone calls I found

Otherwise, it looks pretty slick. No gadget lust though, it just didn't do it for me.
It seems pretty light, but I'd imagine you'd want a seriously protective sleeve for this thing if you want to carry it around.
