I'm playing with my new PRS-300

It works!!! The seller sent it fully-charged, so I could play with it on the way to work (I picked it up at the post office this morning). Oh... these things are gorgeous! My high expectations haven't been disappointed a jot by this e-ink - I can read ebooks in sunlight!! *swoon*

And people keep wandering over to my desk to check out the pretty new toy, because no one else here has seen one

If it were cubed, wouldn't it need to be a PRS-27000000?

I suspect that in many ways, 3 PRS-300s do kinda equal a PRS-900, though In some ways I'd've liked to get a larger reader with more features, but this DOES suit my disorganised, just-carry-one-of-everything kinda lifestyle.

Ya know, guys, it's kinda funny... after hanging out here so long, ebook readers seem fairly mainstream to me. But because I'm in Australia (not a technological wasteland, generally), I can be the first in an office full of early-adopter IT folk to get a (secondhand!) ebook reader...
