Should we be more or less suspicious of the moderators who aren't present at the questioning? I know the dalek has been mentioned, but I can think of at least one other?

There should only be one missing mod - Verencat said that there were 10 of them present for the crime. 9 have been listed: Nate the Great, PilotBob, Verencat, Patricia, mtravellerh, NatCh, DaleDe, Nekokami, Ravenne, and Netseeker. I'm assuming that the tenth is either Zippy, errr I mean Zelda or some as yet unnamed mod who has not been listed. On the other hand the question was "How many moderators, not including the stiff, were there in the room when he got stiffed?", so, being as literal minded as the questinees have been, there may very well be a few more people that were in the room (like the dog).

I guess, all things considered, all we really know is that may or may not be one or more moderators who were possibly present.

Not helping am I.....

Errr - that's 10 moderators there already

Taking it incredibly literally, it means that two of them (including Zelda in the count now) weren't present, as Pshynk is a mod, and would undoubtedly have been present at his own death (his body seems to suggest he was).

Exactly! Assuming Verencat is telling the truth and can count, there were 10 plus pshrynk. So who wasn't there? I'm thinking probably the penguin, who was seen running toward the area of the suite just before the hubbub started... Or maybe Zelda, who left for Rock Lobster's office even before the crime happened - as she was obviously in on it! (who knows how many hours she had been driving before she reached his office - and how many others she may have killed on the way..)
