When I first joined here, I posted mainly in the Kindle thread - and mostly positive comments - that was the only reader I owned - and hadn't ventured much into other threads. I guess I got a "rep" as an Amazonian. Then I posted in a general thread - actually criticizing an Amazon policy - and a hardline Amazon critic (who shall remain nameless) immediately fired off a response criticizing my comments since I owned a Kindle (listed in my device line). When I responded that my post was actually condemning Amazon, I got a sheepish apology for snapping back at my device, not my post. So maybe I'm a double agent? An agent provocateur? Prepare to be infiltrated!! Resistance is futile!! |

Also, I look exactly like my avatar. I am not an infiltrator from Amazon, but I'm willing to learn. Hey, It's your money and your dying business - nobody reads these days. ...but I've said too much. | |

I've never been near Amazon, Ever! Amazon will deny knowing Me, It's standard procedure If you get caught they deny you ever Existed! |

Just because the Kindle (only $259.00 at Amazon.com) is the best reader on the market bar none, and will soon be even a better bargain thanks to the upcoming 2.5 system update being released later this month, is no reason to suspect Kindle owners of being spys for Amazon. We just happen to prefer the reader that leads the pact in innovation and customer satisfaction. BTW, the 2-year extended warranty is only $65.00, and includes free replacement for one instance of accidental damage from dropping the device. How sweet is that? PS: Mother's Day is coming. What better way to say "Thank You" to the woman who was there when you needed her than by giving her a new Kindle International Edition? Last edited by WT Sharpe; 05-02-2010 at 11:29 AM. |
