Kraviz and Kartu there is a little error in the sample.js (PRESS_MARK_TO_DELETE: "Press MARK to", THIS_BOOK: "delete book.", they should be translated as "press mark to delete", and "this book" or "book")

I think the titles of "EpubUserStyle" and "Text Scale" are missed in the file translation, because these tittles are the names of the tittles of their menus.

I have translated the spanish file again .

I took over anything but "Uhr-Einstellungen"...in this - and maybe other cases of course - Duglum should have the last word...

Anyone know how to do this? The above poster chose not to share the solution. Whenever I try to add my custom font for LRF files via the Universal Flasher, my PRS+ functionality is wiped out. Then, when reflash the PRS+ firmware, I am back to the crappy Dutch Roman font for LRF files.

First check this thread on how to create a custom (you can use this tool vice a font program) tt0011m_.ttf font to substitute for your LRF font. Here is the factory default and the prepared free fontin font for use as a replacemant lrf on the reader. Now that you have a properly prepared tt0011m_.ttf to replace the default complete the following steps.

Updated, step 3 critical to success.

1. Install PRS+ (skip if you already have it installed)
2. Use Igorsk's Universal Flasher (I used a empty SD card).
3. You must verify that the folder files.505.1.1.00.18040 and the its subfolders (in SD Flasher) are empty. Delete ALL files.
4. Place the customized tt0011m_.ttf file in the files.505.1.1.00.18040\opt\sony\ebook\FONT\ directory on the SD card.
5. If you want to update the icons and logo at this time, the new kBookIcon.png and kBookAssets.png files should be placed in the files.505.1.1.00.18040\opt\sony\ebook\application\ resources\scripts\ directory on the SD card.
6. Start (insert card into reader) Igorsk's Universal Flasher make a new image (press 5).
7. Then Flash the image (press 6).

That should do it, remove SD card, and allow it to reboot.

For instance, I cannot access PRS+ settings, the key bindings are gone, the "About" screen says I am using standard Sony firmware (1.1.0018040) instead giving me the PRS+ GNU logo, etc. So I am still not successful.

I believe Step 4 just looks at your device and creates an image adding the font you placed in the directory. Step 5 then flashes that image. Wait for it to finish and start to reboot before removing the SD card.

All I can say is start fresh from the beginning and try again.

This is the same procedure used to add custom icons or change the logo on the reader page or add your contact info to the about screen (by modifying the main.xml and adding via the same directory as the icons and logo) or make one of a half dozen other changes.

@Kartu Has anything changed since 1.02, is the method linked still the way to update the icons, logos, lrf fonts?

Kravitz i have incorporated the page left together with the last modifications of spanish.js, sample.js, and pageindex.js (the before files didn't have the last modifications of the files), the diccionario menu is translated too.

Guys I've found a way to fix field width problem, "_SIZE" fields were added to localization files (together with "OK" strings, I guess "save" & "unlock" might sound quite different from "OK" in some languages).

Default width is 2 (35 * 2 = 70pixels in portrait mode). You can set it to whatever you want (8 is max reasonable size). You could also use float numbers like: 5.5.

There are a couple of new strings related to dictionaries.

Please don't translate anything yet

, wait until we are done with changes (kravitz working on "Book History" features).

Pepak, here are screenshots of your sample LRF/EPUB files in my reader (txt was my copy paste). The problem is, I HAVEN'T done anything to the readers fonts yet (well, actually was struggling with font editor, that was complaining that glyph already exists) yet those sentences the same way as in your post (to my untrained eye

Victor, which editor are you using? File is not UTF8 encoded. I'd recommend jedit.org and setting default encoding to UTF-8 (besides, you can explicitly set encoding for each file). Then you won't have to do String.fromCharCode

The file is also missing the latest changes...
