I'd have to second Harry T's advice. The Sony 505 has the first gen ADE, and I find the alphabetical lookup sort of primitive. The Hanlins have the newer ADE which supports full justification, which really looks nice with the smaller font sizes. I suspect any of the newer readers have the better ADE now, so I can't recommend the 505.

What is ADE?
I did a google search and nothing related to ereaders came up.
Adding PRS+ to the 505 does give folders, and gives "new" features. I believe they are working on "dictionary" feature , but it's still in development. I guess when I think sony 505 , I think of it with PRS+ because it only takes 5 minutes to put on the 505 and gives newer features and will continue to get updated. It has games now and you can assign the buttons to anything you want. And you can easily add NEW fonts. Cool Stuff!

In order for my Sony 505 to read DRM'd ePub and pdf I have ADE on my laptop and the Reader authorized.. The MR Wiki can explain it better and in more depth than me.

I have had my 505 since December 2008 and have had no problems.

30 second comparision of 360 and 505.
I didn't like the clicking sound on the 360, the 505 was quiet in comparision. The 505 is metal, the 360 looked plastic.

The clicking sound on the PB360 is nowhere near as loud as it seems on those videos. Before I bought my PB360 that was one of the questions I asked over at the Pocketbook forum here at MR.

I cannot recommend the Pocketbook 360 highly enough. I LOVE it. It is exactly what I was after and I spent months research and changing my mind before I just finally decided to go with the PB360 and hope it was the right choice. It definitely was, for me. It is a very pretty device, it read very, very well and is very easy to use.

Definitely get one if that's the way you're leaning
