I notice as I cruise these forums that many people live in countries other than the U.S. Where does MobileRead originate? And what country seems to be the most represented here? For the record I live in the U.S. But I guess you've already figured that out. Joyce |

Well Joyce I live in LEICSETER, Not I might add one of the three Leicester's in the US but the one and only in the UK! Leicester is a small City in central England about 100 miles north of London, around 300,000 population, and was big in footwear and clothing manufacture, but a lot of those industries are long gone , My main complaint here in the UK we have so few eReaders officially available and with all functions working, you guys in the US are SO much luckier Not to worry I Love my official Sony PRS-600B Have a Great Weekend, | |

English, Lancashire lad, with the red rose clenched in my fist and blooming in my heart. * *The red rose in a fist is the symbol of international socialism. The red rose on the yellow flag is that of Lancashire. Last edited by Moejoe; 04-15-2010 at 07:32 PM. |

Until a couple of month ago, I was in Nottingham in the Uk, am currently living and working in Alexandria in Egypt and Will be somewhere else (Probably India or Dubai or even both) next month. One of the Reason I love ebooks and Readers so much (And Mobileread as well) is that when I'm in other countries it makes is so much easier to find a consistent supply of english language books to read. In the past I would often spend lot of time and money trying to find books in the genre's I like locally often no not much success. Now I can not only find something to read bit also people to discuss them with no matter wherever I'm in the world. |

Brisbane, Queensland , Australia - just like PDS. But place big enough that we haven't run into each other yet. I do keep my eyes open for fellow eBook readers though. |

I live in the hills outside Perth in Western Australia. By coincidence my house is at the exact centre of the universe. It's quite handy when it comes time to travel through the cosmos to make speeches, open new galaxies, confer honours, and so on. No need for a GPS to find my way home - just head back to the middle.... |
