I was wondering where you'd gotten off too. That does sound like fun, relaxing as well. didn't run into any bigfoot?

I've been camping with the dogs quite a bit but never a cat. Of course your new family member is more dog like than cat like anyway. How did he like it? Have to rescue him from any trees?

ea, if that were me, i would be shouting a lot louder than that. i'm already cranky as it is because i'm having trouble with my internet connection. but when my whole computer is down, well, best to stay out of my way. i hope you can resolve it one way or another soon. meanwhile, cooking seems like a good catharsis. at least you won't be cranky *and* hungry. good luck...

he only goes up the trees a little way, I had him in a harness the entire time. he's not real keen on the BOOMs, but then again the dog isn't either. I would tie them in the tent when I was shooting. it was a sorely needed break as I haven't been able to ski this season and I got a LOT of snow! that always helps my attitude!

I hope to get my new PC on Monday. Thank the gods!

Not sure about good, violent vegetarian recipes, but I did subdue a zucchini and turned it into patties tonight; almond slivers, fresh chopped garlic, and lemon zest played a big part and were a big hit with the sole/plaice fillets and the butter finished it off.

I think I may post a nice recipe for mashed broccoli with cream in the recipe thread, but I'm pretty sure its too gentle for you

Hope you get your PC by Monday EA. Always nice with a new PC once you get it set up as you want it.

I've had my fare share of computer crashes. Right now we have a hard-drive at work that crashed and the recovery program has been running for over 3 weeks trying to recover the data.
