0.6.3 says that it's supported but won't find it. I tried 0.6.4 as well.

it has buggy formware which means a driver for windows cannpt be written.

This is apparently a Hanvon N520. It looks like the Hanvon N516 is detectable, but the wiki suggests that the N520 is running WinCE (vs Linux on the N516). So perhaps Hanvon does not realize that it is not reporting properly.

511EB Firmware update & Linux
Just updated the Elonex 511EB to the latest firmware (V0.47) - see http://shkspr.mobi/blog/index.php/20...rmware-update/

Plugged it into Ubuntu 9.10 and it was auto detected & mounted!

lsusb still shows ID 045e:ffff Microsoft Corp.

Linux kernel 2.6.31-20-generic
