I just uploaded a ziped file with two folders:

Apps:
-- Calculator;
-- Picture manager for screensaver;
-- Unit converter (weights, lengths, and so on);
-- Kitchen unit converter;
-- Chemical Period Table

Games:
-- Reversi;
-- Sudoku;
-- Tictactoe;
-- Minesweeper;
-- Hangman;
-- Chess;
-- Battleship

Unzip the file to your Boox's SD. Enjoy!

PS Thanks creators of the apps and games, those people who found them. I made minor editing for some JavaScripts to adjust the games to Boox.

There is a new firmware update v.1.3 20100308...

I just installed it and I see some differences from the Russian version of the firmware 1.2.2 20100210. I see it looks different than 1.2.2 20100210, but I don't know if is cosmetic or substantive update. I can be wrong, but it seems to me that the text is darker...

Doesn't look like v 1.3. That website lists it as 1.2.2 / 20100308.

Yes, frozennorth, the website says that but after I installed it on my Boox and checked About, it says Firmware Version: 1.3 20100308

Onyx told me today that the firmware 1.3 is now in an internal test. So maybe it could be that this is a untested firmware update. When I will know more I will post it here. The expected release date is this month.

I have two Onyx Boox ereaders (my wife and I each one). Mine has a battery problem: when on standby the battery drains in 3-4 days even without reading. The other one doesn't seem to have this problem, but I am still experimenting. I have Wifi switched off (switch down) and the stylus inserted. Does anybody have a similar problem? Should I return it and claim warranty?

I regret to post this question here in this topic, but there isn't a Boox subforum, so I wouldn't know a better place.

Had this yesterday with BeBook Neo, which is more or less identical to Onyx Boox. After maybe 3 days in standby (WiFi on), battery was dry. nook on the other hand, which was charged at the very same time and has WiFi on as well, plus has been used every day, still was about 50% charged.

Does anybody tested the V1.3? I did, and I can't connect with WIFI to the internet. So I think the V1.3 isn't finished yet. Please be careful with installing it.

Klein, it works for me fine. I don't know what can be a problem on your side. Did WiFi work with firmware 1.2.2?

FWIW, this version (1.3) is now available from the official Onyx Support page.

I second that. If Astak can have one separate from the Hanlin forum then the Boox/Neo should have one as well. With the number of people buying one, it is proving to be a major player in the market.
