				Two pics ...

Two pics, one of my dear computer and one of the gloomy day I've today here, shot from the garden outside my workplace.

We haven't had a summer at all so far this year. We had the wettest June on record, and July isn't looking any better. Maximum temps at the moment of about 17-18C - low 60sF. This time last year we were in the mid 30s (high 90s, F)!

We have a joke about northern towns in Québec. One guy from a southern region lands in a little town somewhere up north. In a little cafe he meets with locals to find something to do. At one point he asks... "What do you guys do during summer?" Someone answers... "That day we go fishing." |

The place where Alex lives is, IMHO, one of the most beautiful places in Europe. I've visited there (completely unconnected with MR!) many times and it's just stunningly beautiful.

Kidding you Alex! I like to be out in bad weather. There is nothing as impressive and humbling than a full blown snowstorm. In days like today I miss them. Your place must be beautiful in winter! |

I with you Yvan, but I prefer a full all-out thunderstorm! In Baton Rouge, LA on a cool enough day, I used to open my sliding glass door and sit on the porch or inside and watch the show and smell the scent!
