No problem - my blood pressure's fine, it's yours I was worried about.

For what it's worth, I have holidayed in America three times in the last few years and thoroughly enjoyed each time. I found the people there to be very friendly (not 'rude and obnoxious'), bar one security guard at San Francisco airport; but that's a reflection on security guards, not Americans!

My comment was intended more as the kind of gentle joshing you get between friends rather than anything confrontational - apologies if it was read any other way.
